Hello! I’m Minghua
“If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
Staff Support at Foursquare Preschool Early Learning Center
I have grown a strong interest in development, psychology, and pedagogy since my teenage years while observing both positive and negative interactions in the classroom. I believe in Vygotsky’s scaffolding theory in that all children can learn at their own pace and continue moving up to the next level of learning through the help of a more informed individual. I also believe in fostering skills in lifelong learning at an early age, which is defined as the ongoing, voluntary, and self-motivated pursuit of knowledge for either personal or professional reasons, as it leads to a sure path of happiness. I had research and clinical experience in Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for nearly ten years before joining Four Square. I also participated in the K-12 Teacher Education program at Purdue University for four years.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading, jogging, rockhounding, cloud watching, star gazing etc.
What is #1 on your bucket list?
I want to live and practice at a Buddhist temple, listening to the mantras and learning the rituals, achieving a higher level of awareness or enlightenment through daily meditation.
